Accommodations in Fuengirola

In summer, Fuengirola is one of the most visited places in Málaga. With some of the liveliest nightlife on the “Costa del Sol”, the city simply doesn’t sleep. Its streets offer every type of bar and hangout, and the boardwalk is the meeting place for party lovers. In Plaza Amarilla many young people gather, while in Palmeras Bowling Alley there is fun of another kind to be had, with ice skating, music, recreation, and more.

Fuengirola is divided into seven beaches: El Ejido-Castillo, Santa Amalia, San Francisco, Los Boliches, Las Gaviotas, Torreblanca, and Carvajal – all heiresses of a long tradition that has drawn tourists from all over the world for many years. All the beaches contain the necessary services, and for that reason are sought by German and British tourists above all. And you can begin sunbathing in May, thanks to the good temperatures enjoyed here.
Away from the beaches are the Zoo of “Fuengirola” (which organizes nocturnal visits in summer), the “Karting Club de Mijas”, the amusement park of Tivoli, the aquatic park, the ruins of the Roman thermal baths, and the Arab castle of Sohail. Or you can enjoy the ample gastronomical delights that appear on the town’s terraces, where fish fritters sizzle and espetos (grilled sardines) on moragas (spits) are roasted in front of your table.
